The solstice is the most powerful time of the year for the Sun God. The fire plays a prominent role in our ritual. The element of Fire is the element of transformation.

Litha, center of summer where the sun is at its highest point. The longest day of abundance, fertility and joy. The receiving and giving womb of the Goddess is indispensable for this. She is the generous, warm mother with open arms to receive us.

During midsummer's night, the gates of the elven world are open and it is the most powerful time of the year for the Sun God, as well as the culmination of the moon goddess who appears as Venus.  The fire plays a prominent role and is very transformative.

Litha is the moon goddess and represents abundance and fertility, power and order.  We will perform the “dream fire ceremony” during this day. This is an ancient Indian and also Celtic ritual where we ask for openings and opportunities to change our addictive behavior (in patterns) and take action in real life… so that we open to abundance in our lives. It is a wonderful time to also give positive nutrition to our relationships.
