Sounds and Smells - on a journey to your scent memory

The limbic part of the brain plays a major role in experiencing and interpreting traumatic experiences, especially fear and trauma. The two parts most important for processing emotions, the amygdala and the hippocampus (the site of our memory), lie close to the olfactory nerve. They belong to the oldest part of our brain, the reptilian brain. Memory, emotions and smell are therefore closely linked. In fact, the reptilian brain only responds to smell and resonance.

 In this workshop you let your voice be guided by various scents. As you connect with the spirit of plants express the scent with your voice. This opens portals to other dimensions within which you can go on a journey and also heal deep trauma. These adventurous journeys are never the same twice, so people who have already experienced the workshop are also welcome. You deepen your experience with each round and you get to know the oils like never before.

You don't have to be able to sing for this workshop, just be prepared to use your voice. We give this workshop in both the Netherlands and Belgium.
