Day 1 -  9 April

Departure in the morning with a flight from Charleroi to Marrakech. Upon arrival, a minibus transfer will take us toward Zagora.
The route leads across the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260m), offering panoramic views of the High Atlas Mountains and traditional Berber villages.
We will stop in Ouarzazate for a visit to the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
Lunch will be provided en route.
Arrival in the late afternoon/evening at the permanent Tizi Desert Camp. Traditional Moroccan dinner and overnight stay in tents. In the evening: campfire with Tuareg music and an introduction to the local way of life.

Day 2 - 10 April

After breakfast, we continue our journey through the Draa Valley toward M’Hamid, with stops along the way in Tamegroute, Tagounite, and Oualad Driss.

We visit the Zaouia of Sidi Ahmed Ben Nasser, renowned for its centuries‑old manuscripts and Quranic school. Lunch will be hosted by a local family, followed by a visit to the regional museum. In the afternoon, we travel by camel into the dunes of Erg Lihoudi.

Arrival at the camp, dinner, and overnight stay in nomadic tents.

Day 3 - 11 April

We travel by caravan across the Draa Hamada, walking part of the route alongside the camels, accompanied by a team of experienced camel guides. Lunch is served beneath the tamarisk trees in the desert.

In the afternoon, the mobile desert camp is set up, after which there is time to settle into the silence and vastness of the landscape. After sunset, we experience a spiritual moment of connection beneath the stars — a serene and meaningful encounter that reveals the essence of the desert.

Dinner is followed by an evening and night program featuring traditional Gnawa music, complemented by an interactive percussion session and workshop with djembé drums and tam‑tam percussion. Through musical initiation, live demonstrations, and shared rhythms, an intense and unifying experience unfolds under the night sky.

Overnight stay in the mobile desert camp.

Day 4 - 12 April

After an early departure, we say farewell to the camel team. A 4x4 transfer takes us to the impressive Chegaga dunes, with lunch served en route in the heart of the desert.

Upon arrival at the permanent Chegaga camp, we take part in a special Imzad & percussion workshop. A local female imzad player and a percussionist introduce us to traditional rhythms, call‑and‑response singing, and the cultural significance behind the songs. The Imzad tradition within Tuareg communities is recognized on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage.

After sunset, a traditional Ghayta and vocal performance follows. Female singers and male percussionists together create a powerful, festive Moroccan ambiance that brings the desert night to life.

Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
